Who runs this site

This site is run by Tan Solutions, an independent software studio. For any question about this notice or about your data, email support@tansolutions.org.

What this site collects

This site sets no cookies of its own. It runs no analytics, no tracking pixels and no forms, and it does not ask you to sign in. The pages are plain documents with the studio’s style sheet and fonts.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver a page, the host receives the standard request data that every browser sends: your IP address, the page you asked for, the time of the request, and your browser’s user agent and language. Tan Solutions does not use this data to build profiles of visitors.

When you email us

If you write to support@tansolutions.org, we keep your message and your address so we can reply and follow up on your request. We do not sell them, share them with advertisers or add you to a mailing list. Ask us at the same address and we will delete your messages, unless we have to keep a record for a legal reason, which we will tell you.

Please don’t send passwords, store credentials or customer data by email.

Advertising and cookies from Google

Tan Solutions has applied to show ads from Google AdSense on its sites. This site shows no ads today. If ads appear here, the following applies to them:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.

Our product sites

Each product site that collects more than this one has its own notice. Rail Crossing Atlas shows ads on its guides and asks for your consent before it uses Google Analytics; its Rail Crossing Atlas privacy notice explains both. Comeback’s site has its own Comeback privacy policy.

Children

This site is written for adults and businesses. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this notice

When this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. If ads start to run on this site, this page will say so before they do.
